JUMP TO THE FREEDOM

The characters:

Molly is a black girl with curly hair. She dreams with the freedom but she lives as a slave, for this is very difficult for her.
Tom is a black boy with curly short hair. He is not older than Molly and he wanted to be free.
John Smith is a rich withe man and he is the master of the plantation where the slaves work. His hair is red and he has beard. He is selfish and only think of him and not his slaves.
Mrs Smith is John's wife, she is withe too, her hair is brown and short. She is nice and good person because she want to help Molly.
Edward Smith, is John and Mrs Smith's son, he is older than Molly and is a bad person and selfish.
Jacob is a black men, Mr Smith's house servant  and he is a hard working because he does all although he doesn't want.
Sarah is a black woman, she is Molly's mother and she works in the fields, she is a good person and she love her daughters.

Summary

John Smith is a master of the plantation where Sarah works. One day, Molly and Ella, her sister, were ill and her mother had to go to work. She gave them an herbal tea, and they recovered.
Days later, John Smith was father again, and he said to Sarah knitted a clothes. Molly an Tom was learning to read and write but that was a secret because the slave can't learn. Early one morning, Jacob went to Tom's cabin to talk Ruth, Tom's mother, would  travel with the master.
In September, Mrs Smith, went to the Sarah's cabin, to take the clothes, but Sarah didn't have all the clothes and Molly had to go, a few days later, to the master's house to carry them. In the garden, Molly met Edward and he pulled the clothes from Molly hands, and she was angry.
In the same month, Jacob went to Sarah's cabin and he said that he had to carry Molly to the master's house to look after Catherine, the baby. Molly slept on a straw mattress on the floor and she wanted come back home. But a day... Edward came into Catherine's bedroom and close the Molly's door. He made Catherine cry, and Molly didn't listen the baby. Edward advise to his father and he was furious. Mr Smith hit her with a whip.
In May, 1857, Molly had fifteen years old and it was Edward's wedding day. After the wedding, Jacob arrived to the cabin to see Molly, and he said to her mother, that Molly was the wedding present.
One evening, Edward lost a game, and he gave Molly to a captain as a price. The captain took Molly to a travel, in Pensylvania, and she met her old friend, Tom. That night, Molly and Tom, jump to the freedom because in Pensylvania, didn't have slaves, they would be frees forever.
